Troup Head Nature Reserve badger setts are targeted in wildlife crime incident





Police are appealing for information after badger setts were maliciously destroyed.

The incident took place at Troup Head Nature Reserve, Gamrie, between July 19 and July 26.

Investigating police officer PC Paterson said: "Badgers are a protected species, and it is against the law to harm them or their habitats.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to come forward."
