Inverness to Aberdeen train line closed with flood alert in place across north-east

THE train line between Inverness and Aberdeen has been closed today due to flooding.

A flood alert was put in place across the north-east on Wednesday afternoon.

Elsewhere, flood warnings – a step up from a flood alert, have been put in place for Cawdor, Nairn and Sluggan to Dulnain Bridge.

Warnings are also in place across Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City.
