The sun bounced off perfectly polished bonnets as the clouds cleared over Castle Fraser for the 2022 Aberdeen Performance Car Show yesterday (Sunday).

Car enthusiasts flocked to see the line up, which this year boasted 1000 vehicles.

There was a wide range of models on show, with individuals and groups alike rushing to sign up for the popular event's return.

A big pull is the opportunity to take a closer look at aspirational vehicles, many of which have been customised to the owner's personal preferences.

It is also an opportunity to engage with people from across the north-east who share in your interests.

Entertainment was provided throughout the day by Extreme Action Sports Tour who put on various stunt shows which thrilled visitors and offered a change of pace from the stationary exhibits.

There was also an array of stalls offering various car care and personalisation services as well as charity stalls.

An array of caterers offering different cuisines kept hunger at bay, with ice cream proving particularly popular with all ages as temperatures soared into the mid-twenties.
