A street in Huntly has one of the slowest broadband speeds in Scotland, according to a new survey.
East Park Street has average downland speeds of just 1.69 Megabites per second – almost 400 times slower than the country's fastest.
That's according to the price comparison website Uswitch, which places East Park Street tenth bottom of its Scotland-wide table.
The company's survey claims it would take the Huntly street's residents about six hours to download a two-hour HD film.
This compares to only 62 seconds for the people living in the street with the fastest speeds in Scotland – Murrayfield Terrace, Bannockburn – which boasts 665Mbps.
To compile its survey Uswitch collated the results of 276,083 consumer speed tests.
The results claims that Scotland's slowest street is also in the North East.
Grant Road in Banchory has painfully sluggish average speeds of just 0.28Mbps.
Meanwhile, Duncan Drive in Elgin is seventh slowest with 1.34Mbps.
Ernest Doku from Uswitch said: "Scotland’s broadband keeps getting quicker every year, but parts of the country continue to be left behind.
"Of the ten slowest streets, nine could have access to faster broadband.
"We urge residents there — and anyone else unhappy with their broadband speeds — to do a quick search online to see what speeds they could be getting with another provider."
