Huntly hero, John Henderson, the winner of the 2021 World Cup of Darts, has had his achievement recognised in a motion tabled in the House of Commons.

Gordon MP Richard Thomson put down the Commons Motion after Mr Henderson won the prestigious title with team mate Peter Wright, when they beat Austria in the final earleir this month.

Mr Henderson was given a hero's welcome on his return to Huntly and people packed into The Square to shake his hand and be photographed with him.
