Moray’s Friendly Fest, in Keith, to be headlined by Stone Roses tribute act
A festival that has become an ever-present in the Moray music calendar will return this summer - headlined by a popular Stone Roses tribute act.
Friendly Fest is returning to Keith Football Club’s Kynoch Park for its fifth running on June 28, with an array of tribute acts celebrating some of music’s most iconic acts.
The Complete Stone Roses are top of the bill - the group delivering the definitive tribute to Manchester’s legendary indie band.
They will be joined by MacFleet, who perfectly capture the magic of Fleetwood Mac’s timeless catalogue.
The stellar bill also includes Bryan McAdams, the UK’s to tribute to the Canadian rocker, an intimate Ocean Colour Scene acoustic set, plus spectacular tributes to country superstar Shania Twain and pop legends Cher and Abba.
Event Organiser Russell Aitchison said: “Live music events are vital to communities across Moray.
“That’s why we are delighted to be bringing another fantastic line-up to Keith.
“The response to our first four years has been phenomenal, and we are excited to build on that success with what promises to be another memorable day.”
Friendly Fest continues to establish itself as one of the region’s premier music events and has paved the path for other successful local festivals - including Banff Castle Rocks.
Tickets for Friendly Fest go on sale at 8am on Wednesday, February 5.
