Arradoul SWI enjoy the sweeter things in life





There was a sweet note at Arradoul SWI when the group held their November meeting.

President Coleen MacKenzie welcomed members to the meeting before introducing Chane Otto.

She went on to demonstrate her skill in making buttercream flowers. During this she used simple coloured buttercreams and an array of different palette knives, effortlessly created beautiful flowers.

Chane took along some cupcakes she had adorned earlier and showed members some beautiful work on larger cakes. Afterwards the members got the opportunity to make their own buttercream flowers which was most enjoyable.

Monthly competition winners: Two pieces of confectionery - 1 Margaret Thomson, 2 Donna Trowbridge; Flower of the Month - Marian Stringer.

The next meeting on Tuesday, December 10 and features entertainment by Buckie Community Choir. Visitors are welcome.
