Huntly school pupil has long locks cut to support Little Princess Trust providing free wigs to children with cancer





A school pupil has braved a massive haircut to support young people who have lost their hair due to illness.

Marla Green, a primary four at Gordon Primary School, has donated her long hair to the Little Princess Trust - a charity which gives children with cancer and other conditions free wigs.

Along with donating her locks, she also managed to raise cash to put towards the cost of making a wig for a young person in need.

David Green, Marla’s father, said he hopes his daughter’s efforts will spread awareness about the experiences of children and young adults who lose their hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.

In total, Marla managed to raise an impressive £150 from family and friends to support the fantastic cause.
