Moray shoppers set for ideal Christmas boost with chance to win hundreds of pounds of gift cards
Moray shoppers will have the chance to win hundreds of pounds of gift cards from this coming Monday.
Moray Gift Card businesses across the region will be handing out business cards from October 27 with a chance to instantly win a Moray Gift Card as part of the Great Gift Card Giveaway’ campaign goes live to encourage support for local businesses.
Until November 9, participating Moray Gift Card businesses will be handing out business cards to customers with a QR code linking to an online game which will reveal if the recipient has won a Moray Gift Card.
A total of £500 in Moray Gift Cards are set to be given away, including a top prize of a £250 Moray Gift Card. Ten £25 Moray Gift Cards will also be available as prizes. Winners can choose between a physical version of the Moray Gift Card and the digital version introduced in 2024. The digital Moray Gift Card can be added to digital wallets, enabling the recipient to ‘tap to pay’ with local businesses.
Louise Dunn from the Moray Gift Card said: “Christmas is on the horizon and who wouldn’t love to win a Moray Gift Card to get cracking on their shopping, or even to treat themselves.
“All people have to do is support participating Moray businesses during the campaign to be handed a card with an instant chance to win. People can enter once per day, so it’s a real incentive to get out and about in Moray, supporting local businesses, and you could get a lovely treat of a Moray Gift Card as a reward.”
The Moray Gift Card is part of the Scotland Loves Local Gift Card supported by Scotland’s Towns Partnership and fintech Miconex

The Moray Gift Card was introduced in 2021 as part of the Scotland Loves Local Gift Card initiative. Over £160,000 of cards have been sold to date.
