The festive family escape in the Christmassy Cairngorms is the perfect precursor to the first of the resort’s Santa weekend breaks.

This exclusive family festive break package offers up to two adults and two children a comfortable 4-star family room for either a two-night or a three-night stay.
All the family can spoil themselves on delicious dinners each evening, hearty Scottish breakfasts each morning and family tickets to both Aviemore Ice Rink and Landmark Forest Adventure Park.
The package comes complete with a day pass and entry to Landmark Ancient Forest Twi-LIGHTS from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.
It’s total magic: the trail in the ancient pinewood forest is illuminated by over fifty thousand twinkling lights and effects, creating an immersive, enchanted forest experience.
A tree-mendous stay includes an immersive programme of festive activities and entertainment, including a special reading with Santa, a fun Christmas swim disco and festive movie screenings at our on-site cinema.
And it’s all available to everyone: a three-night break starts at just £157 per night, with two-night stay-overs starting from £161 a night.
Festive foresters will be able to check in on November 22 to Macdonald’s top-notch accommodation, including a family room at our 4-star Aviemore Hotel.
Each morning starts with a full Scottish breakfast and after an exciting day the appetites will certainly be ready for a delicious dinner each evening at one of our three on-site restaurants - where kids get to each free from their own menu.
Foodies will be able to enjoy an all-inclusive dinner with a choice of a two-course menu at Aspects, our gourmet dining eatery, or opt for a £25 per adult allowance towards the à la carte dinner menu at Giovanni’s, our Italian restaurant, or at Highland Fish Bar, our new authentic fish and chips eatery.
For those wanting to burn up some energy before or after, family tickets will be on hand to Aviemore Ice Rink along with day passes to Landmark Forest Adventure Park & Ancient Forest Twi-Lights on either the Saturday (23) or Sunday (24).
And Santa will be here to get the break off to the perfect festive start, telling his best stories to guests in his cosy grotto, treating them all to hot chocolate and cookies!
For the older ones there will be fun and games at the Christmas swim disco - splashing out in the indoor pool with a flume and wave machine - or festive movie screenings like Elf and Home Alone in our luxurious on-site cinema.
And music lovers can look forward to begin regaled by sensational local crooner Michael Lewis.
