MOZART, Vivaldi and the 'King of Tango' Astor Piazzolla are coming to Keith next weekend.

The Chamber Philharmonia Cologne will be featuring works by all three performers, as well as by Bach and Saint-Saens when they perform at St Rufus Church.

Jens Kehling from the ensemble said: "Our objective is simple – we want to inspire as many people as possible across all generations to enjoy classical music.

"Our permanently expanding repertoire consists of hand-picked pieces from a wide variety of musical epochs.

"This mix promises great diversity without us having to preach to the audience in the process. After all, music is for entertainment and not for instruction.

"The popularity of our ensemble is reflected in the fact that the Chamber Philharmonia Cologne gives around 300 concerts a year around the globe.

"The Chamber Philharmonia Cologne is at home all over the world. Our tours regularly take us to New Zealand, Australia, Spain, Great Britain, Ireland amongst many other countries – and of course to Germany."

The performance will take place from 7.30pm on Sunday, July 21.

Bookings: St Rufus Church (01542 882799) and the Kirk Shop, 192 Mid Street (01542 886390).
