Fyvie and District SWI have this year celebrated their 90th birthday in a rather different way to what they had originally planned.
At their November meeting members came together on Zoom for an evening of socially distanced celebrations.
Prior to the meeting members received party bags, which contained generous gifts from KAGA in Turriff and The Chocolate Bar in Ellon, as well as a special The Body Shop discount from local consultant Gemma Forbes.
President Carole Eddie proposed a toast to the SWI then introduced her son Steven Eddie who performed some well known tunes on his accordion.
She then read for the members the minutes from the first meeting back in 1930.
Next to join the party was Robert Lovie who sang Happy Birthday to the ladies and wished the group well.
He then sang The Bonnie Lass o' Fyvie.
To round off a very successful evening the ladies enjoyed a short quiz.
