80 per cent of Moray adults fully vaccinated against Covid-19

MORE than four in five adults in Moray have received both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.

A total of 63,355 people aged 18 plus in Moray are now fully vaccinated, which is 81.7 per cent of the area's adults.

In the last week, 4725 people have been given their second jab.

Meanwhile, a total of 70,458 (90.9 per cent of Moray's adult population) have received one dose of a vaccine. This means 240 people have been given their first dose in the last week.

Across the NHS Grampian health board region, 87.8 per cent of adults (416,206 people) have received a first dose, with 70.5 per cent (334,086 people) having been fully vaccinated.

In Scotland, 89.3 per cent of adults (3,987,074 people) have received their first jab and 67.7 per cent (3,010,505 people) have received both.
