Forres High Street assault sees four appear in court with ‘severe injury and danger of life’ charges





Four men aged between 19 and 40 have appeared in court charged with an assault which caused severe injury and endangered life.

Police have confirmed that the men were charged in relation to an incident on Forres High Street on Sunday, September 24.

Mark Hogan (40), Jeffrey Hewitson (39) and Fraser McIntyre (25) were charged with assault to severe injury and danger of life.

The three men made no plea, were committed for further examination and remanded in custody.

Another court appearance for the trio is expected within the next eight days.

Bailey Hogan (19), whose address was given as Middlesbrough in court records, was also charged with assault to severe injury and danger of life along with breach of the peace.

The teenager was committed for further examination and released on bail.

A date is yet to be set for his next appearance.
