Donations of food at Moray's police Stations

Drop off boxes are available at Elgin, Buckie and Forres police stations for members of the public providing donations to Moray Food Plus.

A police spokesperson said "These donations will be distributed throughout Moray to people and families who require support through a difficult time in their lives.

"Food is a basic human essential and we can all contribute something small to assist another.

"Recently, Forres received a fantastic donation from a member of the public providing Christmas sweets and chocolates.

"The kindness from the community is greatly appreciated at this time."

Opening hours for the offices are:

Forres: Monday to Friday – 8.15am-4pm

Buckie: Monday to Friday – 9am-5pm

Elgin: Monday to Sunday – 7am-8pm
