Fire crews were called to a shed fire in Cuminestown tonight.

Fire engines from Turriff and Maud attended at the blaze, which was at the rear of a property on High Street.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "The call came in at 7.24pm for a shed fire at Cuminestown's High Street.

"Crews from Turriff and Maud attended and the fire was extinguished at 8.13pm.

"They are still in attendance to dampen down and will be leaving shortly.

"There were no injuries as a result of the incident."
