Firefighters called to blaze at Macduff harbour

Firefighters tackled a blaze in a building at Macduff harbour on Sunday morning.

Four fire engines rushed to the scene at the property situated on the main road through the town.

The fire crews closed the road while the blaze was dealt with.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said: "The call was received at 10.26am to a report of a building fire in the area of Macduff harbour.

"Four appliances were in attendance. Crews used six breathing apparatus, one main jet, two hose reel jets and small tools.

"We received the stop message around 11.54am."

Some fire crews remained at the building afterwards.
