Fire service crews called out to extinguish fire between Buckie and Keith

THE Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called out this morning to deal with a fire between Buckie and Keith.

Six units were called out to extinguish the fire at a farm building on the Deskford to Drybridge road.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We got the call at 11.21 am this morning and the stop came in at 13.19pm.

"There were six appliances in attendance in the Drybridge area.

"The fire has been extinguished but it is being dampened down by one appliance which is still in attendance."
