Aberdeenshire businesses have final chance to sign up for restaurant week
A final call has been made for restaurants, cafés, hotels and pubs to book a seat at the table for Aberdeenshire Restaurant Week.
Back for a second year and now running for a fortnight from November 3-16, the popular event is the chance to showcase menus, attract new customers and boost bookings during a quieter period.
So far, more than 60 venues have signed up following the success of last year’s inaugural event, which saw dozens of eateries take part and thousands of diners exploring the best of local food and drink.
Feedback from 2024 was very positive, with 85 per cent of diners rating venues as “excellent” or “good”, with more than half trying a new restaurant or area for the first time and a third spending money in other local businesses while they were dining out.
Suzanne Rhind, strategic town centres executive at Aberdeenshire Council, said: “This is a tremendous opportunity for businesses to be part of a region-wide celebration of food that’s set to draw diners to their favourite spots – and also encourage them to explore new culinary experiences.
“With Aberdeenshire’s rich mix of cuisines and the special deals on offer, participating venues are expected to see a real boost in footfall, with some already nearly fully booked.”
