Festive bin collection times

COLLECTIONS of green bin and recycling containers, including food and garden waste, are set to continue more or less as normal over the festive period.

The exception to these collections will be those which would have been due on December 25-26 and January 1-2.

Collections may be carried out earlier than normal, containers should be presented at their usual collection point for 7.30am.

The following scheduled collections will be taken at these revised times: December 25 (green bin/brown bin) –December 21; December 25 (recycling) – December 28; December 26 (green bin/brown bin) – December 22; December 26 (recycling) – December 29;

January 1 (green bin) – December 28; January 1 (brown bin) – January 4; January 1 (recycling) – January 4; January 2 (green bin) – December 29; January 2 (brown bin) – January 5; January 2 (recycling) – January 5.

The special collection and waste hotline will be closed from 3pm on Tuesday, December 24 until 9am Friday, January 3.

Recycling centres will be closed on December 22, 25, 26, 29 and January 1, 2 and 5.
