A local entrepreuneur is looking forward to opening the doors of her Turriff fashion store tomorrow.
Former Turriff Academy pupil Ailsa Alsop has been operating her brand Willow Lane online for around three years.
In the run up to Christmas 2019 Ailsa had the opportunity to open a pop up shop on Turriff's Main Street which was very successful and inspired her to open a permanent store in the town.
She began transforming the Main Street property that Willow Lane will call home in February with the hopes of opening in April - but coronavirus had other ideas.
As restrictions started to lift, however, Ailsa was delighted to announce that Willow Lane would be opening on Thursday July 9.
Speaking to Grampian Online, Ailsa said: "We had a Christmas pop-up last year for a month - and it was hugely successful.
"After so many requests to make it a permanent thing we decided to go for it early this year.
"The pop-up was exceptionally busy which goes to show there’s definitely space for a shop like Willow Lane in Turriff.
"The pandemic has definitely slowed us down.
"Luckily with being online we have still managed to keep busy during the last couple of months - six months later we are finally ready to open our doors!
"We are so excited to get the doors open and finally start welcoming people into the store!
"I can’t wait to see all of our customers again, we can only hope that people love the store just as much as we do!"
Willow Lane will open it's doors on Turriff Main Street to sell women's fashion at 10am tomorrow, July 9, and will be open from 10am-5pm Tuesday-Friday thereafter.
