Fans set for big country music drive in show

Scottish music fans will be delighted to hear that the “ Country Music Drive In Show” is set to roll into Deeside Activity Park, Aboyne on Saturday August 1 and will feature four top Irish Country acts direct from the Emerald Isle for what will be an unmissable night of live entertainment all from the comfort of your own car.

The stellar line up includes the hilarious Gary Gamble and his surreal impressions of Daniel O Donnell , the fiddling maestro Stephen Smyth , the young sensation Owen Mac and the fabulous Keltic Storm band who will accompany each of the stars who will perform there best known hit songs for a hand clapping and toe tapping evening of fun filled music.

The event is being promoted by JMG Music Group from Ballycastle in Antrim and organiser James McGarrity said: “The music industry all across the UK has been heavily hit like all business sectors during the pandemic outbreak and we have saw our thriving events business loose 100 per cent of its work from March 15 since lockdown was imposed.

"A lot of singers and musicians are finding it tough to survive at the moment with no work and little financial support so we came up with the Drive in music concept which is proving popular in Ireland and following a rallying call from legions of Music fans in Scotland where we receive fantastic on going support for all our shows on a regular basis we decided it was only fair we came across with this tour kicking off at the end of July.

"The Drive in shows are totally safe as people will be able to watch and listen to the show from the comfort of there own vehicles whilst adhering to the Covid-19 regulations.

"Its some light at the end of the tunnel for what has been a few tough months from the outbreak and hopefully will give people in the areas something to look forward to."

The Drive in show comes to Deeside activity park on Saturday, August 1 with gates opening at 5pm and the show running from 6pm until 8.30pm with tickets now on sale from www.wegottickets.com/event/502484/ .
