Formartine Fairtrade Group will host a Fairtrade Open House at Bonnyton Farmhouse, Pitmedden which will run from Tuesday, November 9 until Sunday, November 14.

This will be the 28th year of the sale and marks a welcome return after missing last year.

Each day from 10am-10pm there will be a host of wonderful and unique fairly traded products from around the world on display and available to purchase.

Cop26's focus on climate change means it is a great time to look towards gift giving at Christmas with a renewed zeal to shop fairly.

Fairtrade products encourage environmentally sustainable production and give training on climate issues to small vulnerable communities.

Climate change disproportionately affects the marginalised and poor and we can help by shopping ethically and choosing Fairtrade.

Come along to Bonnyton Farmhouse to view an extensive range of products and realise just how important it is for us to consider the way we shop. There will be refreshments and chance to chat.

This year, there is an appointment system to help keep everyone safe and a click and collect on-line shop for those who would prefer to shop this way.
