Climate Week North East kicks off this Friday with lots of events planned to get all ages involved.
Running from March 12-21, the week is packed full of inspiring events designed to raise awareness of climate change and show how we can all make a difference.
Many of this year's events, of which there are around 70, are virtual however there are also some which have been designed for people to take part in safely at a time which suits them during the week.
Amongst the virtual events are sessions with Macduff Marine Aquarium, Home Energy Scotland and Live Life Aberdeenshire.
Plans also include a beach clean at Balmedie, a foraging walk in Inverurie and a treasure hunt in Newburgh.
As well as joining a planned event people in the north-east are being encouraged to get involved with Climate Week by making little changes to their own habits to help the environment or join an existing volunteer project.
