In total 87 drivers were stopped.

Officers made 13 conditional offers for offences included speeding, no MOTs, and vehicle defects

Seven drivers were reports to Procurator Fiscal - offences included drug driving, possession of imitation driving licences, unsupervised provisional driver and incidents involving drink and drug driving and drugs possession.

Three vehicles were seized for driving licence offences and 14 warnings issued for offences included vehicle defects, speeding and careless driving.

Sergeant Craig McNeill, from Road Policing in Inverurie said; “We will continue to conduct targeted operations, addressing concerns and issues in our local communities, aimed at both those who cause annoyance and those who pose the greatest risk on our roads.

"I would encourage anyone with young drivers in their families to encourage them to drive safely and explain to them the potential life changing consequences of not doing so.”
