THERE will be 17 different options for Moray voters on the Highlands and Islands list in the upcoming Scottish Parliamentary election.
As announced earlier this week, voters will have the choice between the SNP, Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats and UKIP while using their Moray constituency vote.
However, each voter must also pick a party (or an independent candidate) on the regional list.
MORE: Moray's five constituency candidates.
Scottish Parliamentary voting system explained.
The parties on the regional list are as follows: Abolish The Scottish Parliament; Alba Party; All For Unity; Freedom Alliance; Reform UK; Restore Scotland; Scottish Conservatives; Scottish Family Party; Scottish Greens; Scottish Labour; Scottish Lib Dems; Scottish Libertarian Party; Scottish National Party (SNP); Scottish Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition; UK Independence Party (UKIP); Hazel Mansfield and Andy Wightman (both independent).
A total of seven regional MSPs will be elected to Holyrood through the list vote for every region, along with one per constituency.
Regional MSPs are intended to ensure that the final numbers in parliament are more reflective of the votes cast for each party or candidate.
Each party has a number of candidates on the list. It is possible for one party to get more than one candidate elected via the same list.
