Easter bonus for north-east Cats Protection group

AN EASTER Cats Protection sale run by the Inverurie and Alford group brought visitors both local and from the wider north-east to the Alford community hall on Saturday.

Admission was £1 or donations of cat food and an eager crowd of visitors were treated to bakery, books, bric-a-brac, bags, plants, raffle and much more, all of which were soon flying off the stands.

One lucky visitor at the raffle table wee Holly Reid who left clutching a large chocolate Easter bunny and several eggs.

The group's Alison Duncan did the final tally for the afternoon and was delighted to report they raised £1000 thanks to all who attended.
