Aberdeenshire road to close due to telecoms works





Motorists have been advised that upcoming telecoms works will close a road.

The C28L Aberchirder to Netherdale road will be closed for four days from Monday, March 24 from the A97 South Street, Aberchirder to Skeibhill Cottage.

An Aberdeenshire Council spokesman said: “Due to the requirement that a diversion must divert to roads that are the same class as the one that is closed, the formal detour is via the C28L to C29L at Netherdale, C29L to B9025 at Scotston, B9025 to A97 near Aberchirder, A97 South Street, Aberchirder to C28L.

“Access will be provided for vehicles requiring access to immediate properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
