The first dog show is set to come to P&J Live next year.
The Dog Lover Show will visit Aberdeen on Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27.
Organisers are expecting a great welcome from people in the north-east and further afield.
Staging the first consumer dog show in the north of Scotland will draw 1000s of new visitors to the event, those not yet lucky enough to have experienced the festival for the love of dogs.
Dog Day Events said: "We are pleased to announce new show dates at P&J Live on the weekend of March 26 and 27.
"Our established Dog Lover Show takes place in Glasgow the following weekend, but we are excited to announce our start for 2022, in Aberdeen’s spectacular P&J Live at TECA."
The event will feature an action packed main stage, breed clubs and as many as 100 exhibitors selling everything a dog could need all under one roof.
There will be a chance to meet rare and common dog breeds at the Meet The Breeds section of the show and there will be demonstrations on grooming for pets, training, healthcare and a vets club.
The main stage will feature some of the country’s top dogs and handlers.
P&J Live exhibition sales manager Claire-Lena Miller-Davis said: "We are really looking forward to bringing the first dog show to P&J Live, and showcase something different at our venue.
"The Dog Lovers Show is packed with so many amazing features, which will be a fun day out for everyone, and we are expecting tickets to sell out fast."
The Dog Lover show is a spectacular day out for all the family with free kids tickets – up to 16 years accompanied by paying adult. The adult entry is £12. There are no dogs allowed in, expect those involved in the show, guide or assistance dogs.
Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, June 16 and will be available to purchase from www.ticketmaster.co.uk
