Thainstone Specialist Auctions most recent online sale of plant, equipment, machinery, and commercial vehicles at the Thainstone Centre featured an entry of more than 1400 lots and achieved an excellent sales rate of 87.5 per cent.
Mark Barrack, Head of Thainstone Specialist Auctions, said: “We were thrilled to be able to deliver another strong live online sale of this scale, providing remote live bidding and the independent support of an auctioneer, to ensure the best and fairest price on the day for buyers and sellers.
"The market continues to see great demand with more than 653 online bidders taking part in this sale.”
Strong prices were met across all categories, including a 2014 Hyundai Robex 220LC Tracked Excavator from the tractors, telehandlers and plant equipment section selling for £37,000, followed by a 2008 Caterpillar 320D Tracked Excavator from the same category which sold for £27,000.
The small plant and ground care section saw a John Deere 1600T Ride on Mower achieve £7800 and a Marshall QM14 Mono Silage Trailer sold for £4000 in the implements and machinery section. Within the light commercials and 4x4 section a 2018 Ford Tourneo Custom Titanium X MPV sold for £23,000 and the Lorries category 2007 Renault Kerax 6x4 Cement Mixer for £7200.
Lastly the trailers and containers section saw a Ifor William TA510G3 141 Tri Axle Livestock Float sell for £3600.
