Crudie kids pay their own Armistice Day tribute with a difference

PUPILS at an Aberdeenshire primary school came up with their own unique way to mark Armistice Day last week.

The P4-7 pupils at Crudie School marked Remembrance by painting poppies on stones.

Head teacher Julia Rickard said the children varnished them and then walked along to the memorial at Crudie where they were placed, read the exhortation and had a minutes silence.
