Covid update: Daily rates remain static across the NHS Grampian area

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 958 positive cases which equates to 4.5 per cent of those tested overall.

The NHS Greater Glasgow area saw 257 cases, Lanarkshire 155 Lothian 150, Ayrshire 89 and Tayside 93.

NHS Grampian recorded 76 cases while NHS Highland saw 16.

A total of 38 deaths were also recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 as a contributing factor in the last 24 hours.

For Aberdeenshire in the seven days to November 30, there were 249 cases (95.3 per 100,000) and in Aberdeen City 140 (61.2 per 100,000).

Principal clusters remain focused around the Peterhead and Banchory/Torphins areas for this time period with a smaller cluster of cases being seen in the Mearns.
