Covid-19: three more deaths in Moray

Three people have died in Moray from Covid-19 since Tuesday.
Updated figures from Public Health Scotland show that two deaths were recorded on Tuesday of people who had tested positive within 28 days for coronavirus, with another one on Wednesday.
No details are given about whether they took place in a hospital, a care home or a private residence.
Sadly, these latest fatalities take the number of people who have lost their lives in Moray to 26 since the start of the pandemic last March.
Moray and Scotland remains in lockdown until the middle of February at the earliest in a bid to halt the spread of the virus, as the death toll across Scotland is over 5600 and across the UK it is more than 95,000.
The clear message to people is Stay at Home as much as possible and only leave the house for essential purposes, such as food shopping, to care for a vulnerable person or work that cannot be done from home.
