A NUMBER of Covid-19 cases have been confirmed among staff at an Elgin discount home and garden store as concerns grow over transmission of the virus in Moray.

Public health officials are working with management at the B&M Home Store, in Elgin's Edgar Road Retail Park, after a "small number" of cases were confirmed.

A spokesperson for NHS Grampian said: "We are aware of a small number of cases associated with the B&M store in Elgin.

"Public Health is working with the store's management."

NHS Grampian director of public health Susan Webb last week warned that Moray was on "a worrying trajectory" and urged residents not to let the region "get left behind" as the country unlocks.
