For those potentially interested in a career as a coach driver, the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) are running a course in conjunction with Mayne's Coaches of Buckie. Due to be held at the firm's March Road Estate depot between 10an and 12 noon on Wednesday, July 24, course attendees will learn more about the role and those going forward will be assessed for their suitability to study for their PCV licence.

Applicants must already possess a full, valid UK car driving licence.

On the same day in Elgin Jobcentre Plus will be spotlighting jobs of a very different sort when Inverness-based recruitment agency Hays come to town.

Up for grabs here will be a wide variety of roles including grass cutters, waste operatives and labourers.

To attend one of these sessions, it is essential for DWP customers to first talk to their work coaches as soon as possible who can then refer them if appropriate.
