A TRIO of Keith girls have raised £655 for charity by performing their music at the local Tesco store.

The Country Quines set up stall on Hogmanay, playing from 11am until 3pm, and, thanks to their music and the generosity of Keith folk, raised hundreds of pounds for Friends of Turner Memorial Hospital (Keith) and Friends of Jubilee Hospital (Huntly).

Cassie, Kirstie and Rachel, who all live in the Grange area of the town, regularly fundraise, as well as playing at old people's homes and hospitals.

At the end of June, the quines raised £1500 for charity with a concert and ceilidh at the King Memorial Hall in Grange, Keith.
