Coronavirus update: Two thirds of adults in Scotland have had their second vaccine

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 1735 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 9.8 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 435 cases and NHS Lothian 385 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 131 new cases while NHS Highland recorded 85 new cases.

In the seven days to July 15 there were 492 new cases in Aberdeenshire (188.4 per 100,000), 603 in Aberdeen City (263.7 per 100,000) and in Moray 165 (172.2 per 100,000).

No new deaths have been recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 3,976,022 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 2,966,054 people have received their second dose.
