Coronavirus update: Small daily spike for NHS Grampian, but weekly levels remain steady

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 1115 positive cases which equates to 7.3 per cent of those tested overall.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 416 cases, Lanarkshire 245, Lothian 122 and Ayrshire 101 with the remaining cases across Scotland.

There were 42 cases in NHS Grampian and 15 in NHS Highland.

In the seven days to November 5 there were 68 cases in Aberdeenshire (26.0 per 100,000) and 82 (35.9 per 100,000) in Aberdeen City.

Geographically in Aberdeenshire, the Auchnagatt area recorded the highest number of cases in that time period with just five cases noted.

A further three deaths were also recorded with Covid-19 as a contributing factor in the last 24 hours.
