Coronavirus update: Rise in overall daily positive cases

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 6630 positive cases of coronavirus from PCR and LFD testing (5809 yesterday).

NHS Glasgow recorded 1285 combined tests and NHS Lothian 1301.

NHS Grampian saw 791 while NHS Highland recorded 299 positive tests in total.

In the seven days to February 5 for PCR results, Aberdeenshire saw 1287 positive tests (493.5 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1519 (663.1 per 100,000) and Moray 343 (358.4 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,423,415 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 4,137,747 people have received their second dose with 3,324,876 having had a third or booster dose.
