Coronavirus update: Rise in NHS Grampian daily case numbers

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2639 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 7.0 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 558 cases and NHS Lothian 381 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 332 cases while NHS Highland recorded 129 cases.

In the seven days to October 11, Aberdeenshire saw 1014 cases (388.8 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 584 (255.0 per 100,000) and Moray 316 (330.2 per 100,000).

29 new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,275,208 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,871,406 people have received their second dose.
