Coronavirus update: Rise again in NHS Grampian

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2756 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 9.3 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 509 cases and NHS Lothian 458 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 374 cases (228 yesterday) while NHS Highland recorded 148 cases.

In the seven days to November 17 Aberdeenshire saw 965 cases (370.0 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1102 (481.1 per 100,000) and Moray 535 (559.0 per 100,000).

11 new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,337,089 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,936,594 people have received their second dose and 1,375,779 have received a third dose or booster.
