Coronavirus update: Overnight case rise for NHS Grampian

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 204 positive cases which equates to 0.9 per cent of those tested overall.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 55 cases and NHS Lanarkshire 25 and NHS Lothian 34.

NHS Grampian reported 26 new cases while NHS Highland recorded two cases.

In the seven days to April 25 there were 19 new cases in Aberdeenshire (7.3 per 100,000), 35 in Aberdeen City (15.3 per 100,000) and 39 in Moray (40.7 per 100,000).

One further death has been recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 confirmed in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland over 2,789,978 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and over 1,142,940 people have received their second dose.
