In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 199 positive cases which equates to 2.4 per cent of those tested overall.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 67 cases, while Lanarkshire and Lothian both reported 28 new cases.

NHS Grampian reported 13 new cases and NHS Highland recorded a further nine cases.

The remaining cases were spread across Scotland.

In the seven days to April 9 there were 53 cases in Aberdeenshire (20.3 per 100,000), 69 in Aberdeen City (30.2 per 100,000) and 42 in Moray (43.8 per 100,000).

To date almost 2,669,000 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and over 590,000 have received their second dose.
