Coronavirus update: North-east cases remain static as falls seen elsewhere

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2065 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 10.8 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 315 cases and NHS Lothian 338 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 276 cases while NHS Highland recorded 172 cases.

In the seven days to October 29, Aberdeenshire saw 1195 cases (458.2 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 782 (341.4 per 100,000) and Moray 278 (290.5 per 100,000).

No new deaths recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours due to registrar closures.

To date in Scotland more than 4,318,783 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,908,244 people have received their second dose.
