Coronavirus update: No drop in overall case levels

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 1433 positive cases which equates to 19.1 per cent of newly tested individuals.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 524 cases, Lanarkshire 321, Lothian 166 and Ayrshire 174.

In the NHS Grampian area there were 28 cases and NHS Highland had 14 cases.

In the seven days up to October 22 there have been 57 cases in Aberdeenshire (21.8 per 100,000) and 104 (45.5) in Aberdeen city.

A further 11 deaths were registered yesterday for those tested positive in the last 28 days.
