Coronavirus update: NHS Grampian area sees small drop in cases over last 24 hours

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 292 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 2.0 per cent of those tested overall.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 143 cases, NHS Lanarkshire 32 and NHS Lothian 45.

NHS Grampian reported 16 new cases while NHS Highland recorded one case.

In the seven days to May 13 there were 38 new cases in Aberdeenshire (14.5 per 100,000), 43 in Aberdeen City (18.8 per 100,000) and 56 in Moray (58.4 per 100,000).

There were no deaths recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 3,020,335 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and over 1,621,031 people have received their second dose.
