Coronavirus update: More than 4,300,000 people in Scotland have had at least one COVID-19 vaccination

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2403 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 8.7 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 431 cases and NHS Lothian 384 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 236 cases while NHS Highland recorded 145 cases.

In the seven days to October 20, Aberdeenshire saw 830 cases (318.3 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 575 (251.0 per 100,000) and Moray 268 (280.0 per 100,000).

There were no new deaths recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,302,382 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,890,477 people have received their second dose.
