Coronavirus update: Moray continues to record majority of cases in north-east

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 175 positive cases of Covid-19 which equates to 1.1 per cent of those tested overall.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 46 cases, NHS Lanarkshire 22 and NHS Lothian 41.

NHS Grampian reported 16 new cases while NHS Highland recorded four cases.

One death was recorded with Covid-19 confirmed in the last 24 hours.

In the seven days to April 28 there were 19 new cases in Aberdeenshire (7.3 per 100,000), 37 in Aberdeen City (16.2 per 100,000) and 54 in Moray (56.4 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland over 2,811,343 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and over 1,263,862 people have received their second dose.
