Coronavirus update: Midweek climb in NHS Grampian cases

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 3080 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 7.8 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 507 cases and NHS Lothian 484 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 398 cases (316 yesterday) while NHS Highland recorded 203 cases.

In the seven days to November 21 Aberdeenshire saw 941 cases (360.8 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1077 (470.2 per 100,000) and Moray 508 (530.8 per 100,000).

Nine new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,341,224 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,941,715 people have received their second dose and 1,502,266 have received a third dose or booster.
