Coronavirus update: Marginal increase in NHS Grampian case numbers

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 775 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 4.0 per cent of those tested overall.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 219 cases, NHS Tayside 96 and NHS Lothian 215.

NHS Grampian saw 31 new cases while NHS Highland recorded 12 new cases.

In the seven days to June 2 there were 33 new cases in Aberdeenshire (12.5 per 100,000), 64 in Aberdeen City (28.0 per 100,000) and 17 in Moray (17.4 per 100,000).

No new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 3,365,779 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 2,227,493 people have received their second dose.
